ABSTRACT:
This 7 page paper examines statistical data provided by the students cornering the satisfaction levels with sentence, legal services and the criminal justice system. The paper is written in two parts. The first part demonstrates the use of a t-test, looking at a potential correlation of the expressed level of satisfaction with the legal services and the sentence received. The use of the t-test is discussed along with an explanation of why a z-test was not used and why a sample is used in research. The second part of the paper uses least squares regression analysis, ploting variables on graphs to assess correlation, looking at the equations, slopes, R2 and y intercept points with the results discussed.
